“The new facility is in a tilt wall construction building of 30,000 s.f. and approximately one third was dedicated to the world corporate headquarters offices,” said Collman. “A portion of the manufacturing area is dedicated to research and development, housing clean room areas and their design team of engineers. SDG Architecture worked with the client to develop and lay out the manufacturing equipment as well as the research and development departments.”
“Because of SDG Architecture and Park Construction’s professional expertise, the manufacturing portion of the facility was able to move into the space and maintain production while the business offices were being completed. This was a tremendous advantage for the company to continue its customer order production during the construction progress,” said Collman.
The facility was completed in approximately eight months from design through construction including permitting with the City of Clearwater. Other team members assisting with this international manufacturing facility were Jack Joyner Air Conditioning and Ventilation, and Wm. Huettig with Electrical Engineering Consultants.
“I am proud to have been a part of the corporation’s expansion program and to have played a small role in continuing this company’s growth and successful international business relations,” said Collman.
